Think Jim's remarks just about cover it! Of course it won't be a true representative of anything really. People can put what they want, and who will know if it's true or not?

I completed this on line,less than 5 minutes.
How many people with something to hide,will give a truthful account?.
It surprises me that in this high tech age such an archaic paper is necassary,if the highly over paid civil servants had been doing their job it would be redundant.

I have got to agree with the sentiments expressed in the 3 previous posts, the census never seems to have any relevance to services provided, it is a waste of time & money; and, just how many immigrants bother to complete it?

Have done the deed on paper. Despite all the explanations as to how this intrusion into our privacy will help to "plan" more effective government action I am not convinced. We have had more than one census in my lifetime and I cannot see any evidence of "planning" coming out of previous form filling. I am sure there are many more pressing matters we could have spent the money on.
